近年来,虽然国产品牌知名度有所提升,但却未能改变其低端的品牌形象。作为中国航天专用润滑产品的唯一供应商,从“两弹一星”到长征系列运载火箭、神舟系列飞船,长城润滑油为中国航天的历次发射提供了高、精、尖端的润滑产品,并且多次得到党中央、国务院和中央军委的表扬和嘉奖。但由于历史原因和体制原因,长城润滑油并未能有效利用这一独占资源,拉动其品牌向高端转变。
