史學家陳垣會編有‘二十史朔閏表’一書,書中排列每月朔日(即初一)的干支,我們感到很便利。但在查表時,也發生了一些困難,如:‘太平天国頒行天曆始於清咸豐元年臘月乙未’,那究竟是公元某年、某月、某日,用‘二十史朔閏表’可查出清咸豐元年臘月(十二月)朔日是壬午,是公元一八五二年一月二十一日,可是乙未日在該表上沒有記載,那我們就要利用干支相配排列表來推算出是二月三日。但是把六十種干支組合的順序從頭至尾地背出來是很麻煩的。這裏介紹一個簡單的辦法。 辦法是這樣的:先確定其干支相配排列數,如甲子為“1”,乙丑為“2”,癸已為“30”,甲午為“31”,乙未為“32”,癸亥為“60”等,這樣就可按排列數來相互推算,問題就在於怎樣確定其干支數?先把干數甲,乙,丙,丁,戊……壬,癸,分別給予一固定数爲:1,2,3,4,5,……9,10;同樣把支數子、丑、寅……戍、亥,分別給予一固定數為1,2,3……11,12,然後,從干支相配符號來確定,其干的符號作爲個位數(干数為“10”時必須進位);干支相減的差數作為十位數的根據(必須干減支,不能支减干),不等於就是十位數。如相減的差数為正數時,那其相減的差數必爲十位數的倍数,如相減的差數為整數“2”時,那十位數為
