It was the company's Wildcat, Hellcat and Avenger torpedoes that shot down and sank over two-thirds of the enemy planes and enemy ships on the Pacific battlefield. The World's Greatest Aircraft Company was the largest single producer of U.S. Navy fighter jets during World War II, and NAV pilots knew that the company was able to deliver on time, whenever and wherever they needed it.
