在钢铁生产中,钢包必须经过预热来减少钢铁熔化的热消耗,防止对耐火砖的热冲击以尽可能延长钢包内衬的使用寿命。预热过程中MgO-C砖中所含的石墨发生部分氧化,石墨氧化使砖的气孔率增加,导致砖性能降低。本文研究一种可涂敷在MgO-C砖表层阻止C氧化的陶瓷涂层。将有涂层和未涂层的两种MgO-C砖加热到1 200℃后冷却至室温,研究其各项性能。试验结果表明:有涂层的砖其抗氧化性能远远好于没有涂层的砖,且延长了耐火材料的使用寿命。
In steel production, the ladle must be preheated to reduce the heat consumption of the molten steel and prevent thermal shock to the refractory brick to maximize the service life of the ladle liner. Part of the graphite contained in the MgO-C brick is partially oxidized during the preheating process, and the graphite is oxidized to increase the porosity of the brick, resulting in a decrease in the brick’s performance. This article studies a ceramic coating that can be applied to the surface of MgO-C bricks to prevent C oxidation. Both coated and uncoated MgO-C bricks were heated to 1 200 ° C and cooled to room temperature to investigate their properties. The test results show that the coated brick has much better oxidation resistance than the uncoated brick and prolongs the service life of the refractory.
