法国普通小麦品种普里美皮(Frimepi)是对普通小麦提型胞质雄性不育的一个有效恢复源。我们对 cmst 盖奇(Gage) (cmst 是提型胞质雄性不育的代号)与普里美皮的杂交 F_2和回交群体的育性分离作了观察并研究确定其恢复基因的数目和作用。两个群体的观察数据表明有两个位点基因控制育性恢复。当两对基因同时存在,不论纯结合或杂结合,都表现为完全恢复。如果其中只有一对(不论纯结合或杂结合)存在则表现为不完全恢复,其结实率低于97%。两对基因中有一对在杂结合状态时其育性恢复作用较小,因此,可以将其列为次要基因。普里美皮两对育性恢复基因的高度育性恢复能力表明在纬度近以于美国内布拉斯加州小麦生长区的地方,这个恢复系在杂交小麦育种方案中可能是有价值的。
French common wheat cultivar Frimepi is an effective restoration source for the cytoplasmic male sterility of common wheat. We observed the fertility segregation of cmst Gage (cmst is the code for cytoplasmic male sterility) and Primix hybrid F_2 and backcross population and determined the number and function of its restored genes. Observations from both groups suggest that there are two locus genes that control fertility restoration. When two pairs of genes exist at the same time, either pure or heterozygous, all show complete recovery. If only one of them, either purely or in combination, is present, it does not fully recover and its seed setting rate is less than 97%. One of the two pairs of genes has less fertility recovery in the complexed state, so it can be listed as a minor gene. The high fertility resilience of Primix’s two pairs of fertility restorer genes indicates that this restorer line may be of value in hybrid wheat breeding programs where latitudes are near the wheat growing areas of Nebraska, USA.
