我于1997年2月4日在《解放日报》发表了《语感与语用——什么是语文教改的方向》一文之后.教育界很有一些反响.然而毕竟未到气候。1998年.关于语文教改的呼声骤然而热,其发轫在圈外,其热闹在圈内,语文界终于“热”起来了。因为忙,我只能关心却无余暇投入争议。作壁上观的好处在于可以冷静思考.然而毕竟如同电视机前的球迷.对进球与否不过闲操心一番。容我客观地说:讨论很热闹.但未必深入:作为宣泄也许可以起到若干平衡的作用,然而方向何在?仍不甚了了。积弊的罪名本不该由语文教师承荷,更何况这些语文教师为语文教改已经作出并且仍在默默地作着自己的贡献呢!
I published the article “Language Feeling and Pragmatics -- What Is the Direction of Chinese Language Teaching Reform?” in the “Liberation Daily” on February 4, 1997. The education sector has had some reactions. However, it has not reached the climate after all. In 1998, the call for language teaching reforms was sudden and hot, but its popularity was outside the circle. Its enthusiasm was in the circle, and the Chinese language finally became “hot”. Because I’m busy, I can only care but I don’t have much time to enter into a dispute. The advantage of being on the wall is that you can think calmly. However, after all, it’s like a fan in front of a TV. It’s just a matter of worrying about whether to score a goal or not. Let me objectively say that the discussion is very lively, but not necessarily in-depth: as catharsis may play a balanced role, but where is the direction? It is still not enough. The accusations of wrongdoing should not be borne by language teachers. What’s more, these language teachers have already made and are still making their own contribution to the language teaching reform.
