“词语破碎处,无物存在”。词汇是构成英语知识大厦的基石,词汇量的制约是学生英语学习困难的主要原因。从交际角度来看,学生因为词汇量的制约,在交际过程中,很难明白对方的意图,从而造成理解和交流上的障碍。词汇教学效果的优劣直接关系到整个英语教学的成败,在中学英语学科教学中有着不可替代的重要位置。优化初中英语词汇教学,提升学生词汇量增长的速度是当前初中英语教学的当务之急,笔者结合平时的教学实践,就这一课题谈几点自己的思考。
“Word broken place, nothing exists ”. Vocabulary is the cornerstone of English knowledge building, vocabulary constraints is the main reason for students’ English learning difficulties. From a communicative point of view, students are difficult to understand each other’s intention in the communication process due to the restriction of vocabulary, which leads to obstacles in understanding and communication. The pros and cons of vocabulary teaching is directly related to the success or failure of the whole English teaching, which plays an irreplaceable and important role in the teaching of English in middle school. Optimize junior high school English vocabulary teaching and improve the speed of students’ vocabulary growth is the top priority of current English teaching in junior high school, the author combined with the usual teaching practice, talk about this topic a few of my own thinking.
