具有良好球化组织的60Si2Mn钢模具,热处理变形较小,而且可以获得良好的综合机械性能。但是,这种钢比较难于球化,用传统球化工艺,如缓冷及等温转变和反复加热退火,都未获得良好的球化组织。采用φ25×50mm试样,钢的成分(%)为:C~0.61、Si~1.50、Mn~0.84、S~0.01、P~0.032,进行球化退火工艺试验,找到比较好的球化退火工艺如下:(1)试样按0.7min/mm系数加热到850℃并保温后在油中淬火;(2)试样随炉加热到790°±5℃(Ac_3以上)保温25min,以110℃/h速度冷却到680℃(Ac_1以下),保温1小时后炉冷。
