“十五”是北京市向现代化发展的重要阶段,市委、市政府明确提出了北京市到2010年率先在全国基本实现社会主义现代化的目标。水利是经济和社会发展的基础设施,进一步加快水利基础设施建设和加强水利管理,为建设现代化奠定基础,已成为摆在我们面前最现实的任务。
The “Tenth Five-Year Plan” is an important phase of Beijing’s modernization drive. The municipal party committee and municipal government clearly set the goal of Beijing being the first country to achieve socialist modernization in 2010. Water conservancy is an infrastructure for economic and social development. It has become the most realistic task for us to further accelerate the construction of water conservancy infrastructure and water management and lay the foundation for building modernization.
