Radikov, Director of Tourism of the Russian Federation, was invited to the Beijing International Studies University to make a keynote speech entitled “The Status and Development of Russian Tourism” for teachers and students. Shao Qiwei, director of China National Tourism Administration, accompanied him to visit the school. Radikoff introduced Russia’s tourism resources, tourism development advantages, natural and historical and cultural tourism resources, and tourism development planning in the coming years. He emphasized that strengthening tourism exchanges with China is one of the strategic directions in the bilateral cooperation between Russia and China. The most important event is the mutual tourism year between 2012 and 2013.
