冰雪山水画之所以开宗立派、标树当今,就在于她美。 冰雪山水画何以美? 十一年前,我着手编著鉴评本《宋词三百首书画集》时,就提出了这一设问。当时是中国美术最为重要的一个转型时期。历经“文革”的反思,人们对美的体验渐由朦胧而至鲜明。新的直觉、新的个性被鲜明地提设至美的殿堂,让人去感悟、去思想。人们再一次发现,传统的土地上,除权力话语、权威话语外,还有精英话语。他们的思想性更有一种批判的魅力,创造的魅力。正是在这一时代背景下,出于著书且回答问题的需要,我认识了志学先生,认知了志学兄思想的深刻。
