作者在设计表格时,首先要考虑表题是否有自明性,即读者一看表题,就知道表文要表达的内容;并注意表题字数一般不要超过15个字,表题中尽量不用标点符号;如表中数据均为同一剂量单位或(和)表中的样本数(调查人数、动物数)各组均相同时,则将剂量单位或(和)样本数等均列于表题之后的()中;如表题中有非公知公用(相邻专业不了解)的缩写时,应在表下注明文中含义。
