在所有真核细胞中,细胞周期蛋白依赖性激酶(cyclin dependent kinase,CDK)调控着细胞周期各个环节的起始与进程,进而控制细胞的增生和凋亡。CDK2在20世纪90年代初鉴定并命名,是目前已发现的11个CDK成员中研究极为深入的细胞周期调控因子之一,在决定细胞周期进程中起着重要作用。
In all eukaryotic cells, cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) regulates the initiation and progression of every aspect of the cell cycle, thereby controlling cell proliferation and apoptosis. Identifying and naming CDK2 in the early 1990s is one of the most profoundly studied cell cycle regulators of the 11 CDK members found so far and plays an important role in determining the cell cycle progression.
