2011年,中国地方志指导小组办公室工作的总体目标是:深入贯彻落实科学发展观,在中共十七大和十七届四中、五中全会精神指引下,进一步贯彻落实国务院《地方志工作条例》,全面贯彻落实第四次全国地方志工作会议精神和中国地方志指导小组四届二次会议精神,推进第二轮修志,完成《汶川特大地震抗震救灾志》编纂工作,促进地方志事业又好又快发展。全年主要工作安排如下:
