技术的进步使得大规模的数据收集、传输、处理变为可能,因而近年来大数据被炒得火热。数据提供了最多的可能和最大的价值,着重获取数据,将是未来发展的重要方向,而智慧城市的建设将会提供系统全面的数据集合。只是面对巨量的新型数据,还存在诸多误读与使用困难,亟需系统的理论指导与方法论支撑。DAD不失为一种系统、科学的方法论,它强调数据对设计的驱动性,通过定量分析和数据关系来设计、调整以及评价城市设计方案。大数据代表了一种全新的思维方式,智慧城市是面向未来的技术创新,而DAD是基于理想的方法探索,当三者在城市遭遇,会发生什么情况,而规划师又该做些什么?存在即映射,感知即参与、行为即决策。
Advances in technology have made it possible to collect, transmit and process large-scale data in large quantities, making big data hyped in recent years. Data provide the most possible and the greatest value, focus on access to data, will be an important direction for the future development, and smart city construction will provide a comprehensive system of data collection. Only in the face of a huge amount of new data, there are still many problems of misunderstanding and use, and the systematic theoretical guidance and methodological support are urgently needed. DAD, after all, is a systematic and scientific methodology that emphasizes the data-driven drive for design, designing, adapting and evaluating urban design through quantitative analysis and data relationships. Big data represents a whole new way of thinking. Smart cities are future-oriented technological innovations, and DAD is based on the ideal method to explore what happens when the three are encountered in the cities. What should planners do? Existence is mapping, perception is participation, behavior is decision-making.
