在新课改前,我国一直沿用以教师的教课为主,学生被动地听讲这种传统的教学模式,近年来,传统的教学模式已经不能适应社会的发展,于是新课改应运而生,一些教育专家适时提出了小组合作学习的模式,事实证明,合作学习能够提高学生的积极性,让学生从心理和行动上都能够自觉地投入到功课的学习中,小组合作学习对初中英语教学的发展有着深远意义,小组合作学习不仅能够提高课堂的学习效率和学生的英语成绩,让学生真正喜欢上学习英语,还能够培养学生之间的人际关系和互助协作技巧。所以,在初中英语的课堂中,教师通过小组合作的学习模式,充分发挥了学生在课堂上的主体作用,让学生积极地参与到了英语课之中,是一种行之有效的课堂教学方法。
