In 1995, Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award evaluated a total of 65 outstanding scientific and technological achievements, of which seven won the first prize, 27 won the second prize and 31 won the third prize. There are 12 items that have reached the international standard in technology level. There are 16 items that are pioneered and advanced in the country. There are 37 items of advanced technology in China. According to preliminary statistics on the economically-beneficial fifty-five projects, the newly added output value has reached 34.424 billion yuan.
