藏品管理是一项十分复杂的工作,从事保管工作要经常、及时地进行藏品的登记、分类、编目、保养和修复等一系列工作,还需要把有关藏品的信息迅速、正确地提供给利用者。传统查找费时费力,难以满足需要,影响了藏品的使用。要提高保管工作的效率,达到现代化的科学管理,计算机管理是必然的发展趋势。藏品保管计算机化,即用计算机为藏品保管工作服务,这样可以极大地提高纪念馆藏品的保管水平和利用水平。
Collection management is a very complicated task. A series of tasks, such as registering, classifying, cataloging, maintaining and repairing collections, must be carried out regularly and in a timely manner in the course of custody work. Information on collections must also be promptly and correctly provided to users . Traditional search takes time and effort, difficult to meet the needs, affecting the use of collections.
