5月12日14时28分,山河变色、举世震惊,一场突如其来、极其罕见的重大灾难——汶川8.0级大地震,袭击四川,成都也感受到了强烈的震感。在这危难时刻,公交集团在保持中心城区公交线路正常开行的情况下,全力投身于抗震救灾中,截至25日凌晨,累计出动公交车1708台次,出租车532台次,2747人次参加抗震救灾工作,运送各类人员712801人次,实现了无一例安全事故、无一人伤亡,完成了每一次救援任务。抗震救灾的十三天来,公交集团发挥国有企业的优势,迅速反应、全力以赴,确保了市区正常的营运生产,完成了成都市抗震救灾指挥部下达的各项救援任务,经受了严峻的考验,起到了国企主力军、排头兵的作用,充分体现了公交人临危不惧、勇于奉献的职业风范和精神风貌,用实际行动谱写了一曲曲可歌可泣的时代赞歌。
