光学参量振荡器(OPO)是利用非线性晶体的混频特性实现频率变换器件,是获得可调谐相干光的有效途径之一。准相位匹配(QPM)OPO产生的红外波段光在红外军事对抗、大气环境监测、医学、特殊环境远距离监控以及光谱学研究等诸多领域有重要的应用价值。而连续(CW)周期性极化铌酸锂(PPLN)OPO是3—5μm中红外大功率连续激光源的最佳选择。本文阐述了QPM技术的原理和特点,综述了中红外CWOPO的发展状况,重点放在CWPPLNOPO技术的发展上,并指出了其发展趋势及应用前景。
Optical parametric oscillator (OPO) is the use of nonlinear crystal mixing frequency characteristics of the frequency conversion device is to obtain tunable coherent light, an effective way. Quasi-phase matching (QPM) OPO infrared band light generated in the infrared military confrontation, atmospheric environmental monitoring, medical, special environment, remote monitoring and spectroscopy and other fields have important application value. Continuous (CW) periodically polarized lithium niobate (PPLN) OPO is the best choice for 3-5μm mid-IR high power continuous laser sources. This paper describes the principle and characteristics of QPM technology, summarizes the development of CWOPO mid-infrared, with emphasis on the development of CWPPLNOPO technology, and points out its development trend and application prospects.
