一方水土养一方人。生活在海边的渔民祖祖辈辈靠打渔为生,祭祀大海保佑平安是渔民的传统。在山东即墨周戈庄的祭海节到目前已有500岁了,是我国北方沿海地区规模最大的祭海盛典。在3月18日祭祀的当天早上,当太阳还没露出水面,各家渔民就把早已准备好的祭祀用物品,抬到沙滩上。在祭海仪式上,供桌上摆放着财神像、披着红绸布的大肥猪、造型朴实的大馒头,到了吉时、鞭爆齐鸣震天动地,渔民们纷纷在自己的供桌前烧纸磕头,祈祷出海平安丰收。
