对关汉卿生平创作进行时代上的分期和对其作品编年作一个系统性的探索,这是长期以来学术界一直追求的目标,但由于关氏行年史料奇缺,殊难有所突破。本文拟从作品人手,结合有关记载,先对关氏南下湖湘江浙以前的北方时期作品作一点考论,以就教于方家。一、透露作者早年活动信息之散曲关氏从事创作,最早当由散曲打入,此亦与元曲发展先散曲后杂剧的大致趋势相当。而这方面目前首先应当考虑的是(二十换头)[双调·新水令]这首套曲。
