地处大巴山地区的达县商业局,下属10个公司、7个厂、3个娱乐场所、2个加油站。常年库存近3000万元以上物资,近1000吨易燃易爆物品。销售门市遍布13个区、80多个乡(镇)。消防安全任务十分繁重。为了确保安全,该局始终把消防工作摆在首位,扎实认真地贯彻"预防为主、防消结合"的消防方针,层层落实责任,强化管理,狠抓检查,从1980年至今,连续17年无火灾,并连续10年被地、县评为先进单位。分管领导还被省商业厅评为全省商业系统安全先进个人。下属酒厂义务消防队还代表达川地区参加全省消防比赛
