The sites of the Xigun Temple and the T’uan Temple in the territory of Yunping Township, Liangdang County, were originally the Kuan-Yin Tang, which was built in Ming Jingtai for five years (1454) and was closely related to the Yunping Temple at that time. These monasteries are not far away from each other, and are also the true reproduction of the “jungle” system unique to Buddhism in the Ming Dynasty. The sacrificial statues in the temple are mainly Guanyin, Sanskrit Trinity and Luohan, with a strong tendency to secularize. After the middle of the Ming Dynasty, due to the change of administrative construction and the natural disasters such as earthquakes, Yunping Temple gradually faded away from people’s attention and only survived the stone shrines of the Xigu.
