整体语言教学理论是在语言学、社会语言学和认知语言学的基础上发展起来的,强调语言教学应集听说读写译于一体,培养学生的语言交际能力和英语综合运用能力。本文阐述了整体语言教学理论及其在大学英语写作教学中的实践,调查问卷显示,在大学英语写作教学中运用整体语言教学方法得到了大多数学生的认可,学生的观点阐述、逻辑思维能力和自主学习能力获得提高。
The theory of holistic language teaching has been developed on the basis of linguistics, sociolinguistics and cognitive linguistics. It emphasizes that language teaching should integrate listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating into one, cultivating students’ communicative competence and ability of using English comprehensively. This paper expounds the theory of holistic language teaching and its practice in college English writing teaching. The questionnaire shows that the application of holistic language teaching method in college English writing teaching has been approved by most students, students’ point of view, logical thinking ability and Self-learning ability is improved.
