二十世纪八十年代到九十年代,日本的电力供应主要依靠燃煤电厂。为了经济地供电,就必须有高性能的超临界压力和高温的蒸汽轮机。50万千瓦的超临界压力蒸汽轮机是满足当代燃煤电厂需要的一项成果。该机已作为最先进的汽轮机之一顺利地投入运行。
From the 1980s to the 1990s, Japan’s electricity supply mainly relied on coal-fired power plants. In order to supply electricity economically, there must be high performance supercritical pressure and high temperature steam turbines. A 500,000 kilowatt supercritical pressure steam turbine is a result of meeting the needs of contemporary coal-fired power plants. The machine has been successfully put into operation as one of the most advanced turbines.
