转BT基因抗虫棉是将BT生物杀虫毒蛋白基因转移到不抗虫的棉花基因中,使棉花获得抗虫性状,并能将抗虫基因遗传给下一代的抗虫棉花良种。经过96—98年的大面积试验证明,转BT基因抗虫棉集抗虫、优质、高产于一体,表现出十分优良的生产性能。在不治虫或很少治虫的情况下,大面积种植亩产皮棉可达100—150公斤。因在栽培技术上有别于常规棉,特提出以下六点供参考。一、要因地制宜选择优良品种(系) 目前,运用于农业生产中的抗虫棉新品种(系)较多,如国内培育的中棉29号(RH—1),中棉30号(R93—6),国抗1号(GK—12),自美国引进繁育的美棉1号
