声音、图像[1]和文字都是“意义”(meaning)的“生产”(produce)与“交换”(exchange)的载体,这一点是毫无疑问的。但不同的图像,其意义的生产和交换方式和过程都会存在着一定的差异,制作的场域各有不同,存在的空间和环境都会有所区别,其传播的对象各异。以墓室图像为例,作为一种特殊用途的图像,无论其制作、形态、效果还是意义,都有别于其他一般性的图像,从使用的场域来说,它是存在于一个密闭空间内的,从“意义”传播的角度来说,它则是生死“大限”之间跨越
There is no question that sound, images [1], and text are all carriers of “produce” and “exchange” of “meaning.” However, the different images have different meanings in terms of the production and exchange modes and processes.
