在马来西亚,木豆已作为一种新的豆科作物被推广种植。橡胶园种植木豆有双重目的,既作覆盖作物又可作间作。鲜豆可制罐头或作蔬菜,也可制成干豆。木豆遍布印度、西印度群岛和其它热带国家。
In Malaysia, it has been promoted as a new leguminous plant. The cultivation of pigeon peel in the rubber plantation has a dual purpose of covering both crop and intercropping. Fresh beans can be made for vegetables or can be made of dried beans. Wood beans are found in India, the West Indies and other tropical countries.
