1941年,中共山东分局书记兼八路军一纵队政委朱瑞同志的爱人陈若克,在我军大崮山医院生孩子,孩子还没有生,敌情发生了变化,医院被迫暂时撤离。陈若克不能随部队一起行动,只好临时隐蔽到沂蒙山区一个半山坡的窑洞中待产。临产时,正好敌人从山洞下的沟谷中经过,陈若克强忍着阵阵痛楚,咬紧牙关,一声没吭。谁知小孩刚刚生下,敌人又像赶毡似地从山顶往下搜查过来,情况十分危急!陈若克不甘心坐以待毙,抱起孩子,出来转移。可是,刚刚分娩的产妇,身子十分虚弱,又带着个刚刚落地的婴儿,行动迟缓,没走出多远,就被敌人发现,不幸被捕。
