潮汐三角洲为障壁-泻湖沉积体系中重要的沉积环境单元,在鲁西南煤田晚石炭世含煤层序中的高水位体系域中比较发育,即组成高水位体系域单元.潮汐三角洲的垂向层序为向上变粗又变细的二元结构型,其沉积组合序列构成一种重要的小层序类型.在研究区,潮汐三角洲的发育是泻湖充填沉积和障壁-泻湖沉积体系演化中的重要事件,而且与煤聚积具有成生联系.
The tidal delta is an important sedimentary environment unit in the barrier-lagoon sedimentary system, and developed in the high-water system tract of the Late Carboniferous coal-bearing sequence in the southwestern coalfield, which is composed of high water level system domain units. The vertical sequence of the tidal delta is a binary structural type that is thicker and thinner upwards and its sedimentary assemblage constitutes an important small sequence type. In the study area, the development of the tidal delta is an important event in the evolution of lagoon-filled sediments and barrier-lagoon sedimentary systems, and is also closely related to coal accumulation.
