石墨是硬度小的、易浮的矿物,但要获得较纯的粗粒石墨却相当困难。用化学处理方法可得到高品位的石墨精矿,但这种工艺成本较高。固定碳含量高于96%的大片状石墨在国际市场上的价格很高。印度矿业局(IBM)采用新研制的药剂(不同的烃类与萜品的混合物,即IBM/D7)生产出了固定碳含量高于96%的石墨精矿,取代了通常生产石墨中所用的起泡剂如松油、MIBC及煤油等。此外,还用装有特制磨矿介质的特制磨机进行再磨,取代了常规的球磨/棒磨设备。新药剂(起泡剂)及特制磨矿介质均是造价低的,而且是易于得到的。这种新工艺正在申请专利。本文着重介绍了能保护片状石墨的新的磨矿方法以及能获得高纯石墨的选择性浮选药剂的应用。
Graphite is a small hardness, easy to float minerals, but to get relatively pure coarse graphite is quite difficult. High-grade graphite concentrates can be obtained by chemical treatment, but the cost of this process is high. Large flake graphite with a fixed carbon content higher than 96% is very expensive in the international market. The Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) used newly developed pharmaceuticals (a mixture of different hydrocarbons and terpins, namely IBM / D7) to produce graphite concentrates with a fixed carbon content of more than 96%, instead of what is commonly used in the production of graphite Foaming agents such as pine oil, MIBC and kerosene. This article highlights the new grinding methods that can protect flaky graphite and the application of selective flotation reagents for obtaining high purity graphite.
