With the prosperity and development of popular literature and art, the performances and artistic standards of theatrical performances are constantly improving and breaking through. Launched by Taiwanese Performing Arts Workshop 1, Ding Naizheng’s musical, “Playing the Love of Qinqin,” shows the music and life through the singing of young blind musicians and American piano teachers. It also shows a lively Taipei. Sichuan Arts 2’s four acts drama “29 tree” to the background of the old Chengdu depicts a small figure 30 years of love and hate. In this paper, we combine two stage plays to analyze the symbols of the city in the form of visual, auditory and linguistic expressions, and analyze the role and significance of urban symbols in theatrical performances through the interaction with the audience.
