机载动目标显示(AMTI)雷达的最重要的功能是从运动着的平台上检测运动目标。这就要求仔细设计多卜勒滤波器以保证最大检测能力。本文提出一种使雷达多卜勒处理器输出信号/干抗比最大的方法。干扰由来自固定目标(杂波)的相关回波和不相关的接收机噪声组成。文章指出,多卜勒滤波器组可以最佳化,使信号/噪声比和信号/杂波比两者的改善达到最大,而每一方面改善的损失又都是微不足道的。一般的MTI对消器仅对杂波有效。研究了设计这些滤波器的三种实用方法,并且相互作了比较,同时还与最佳设计进行了比较。最佳设计给出了滤波器组可以取得的性能上限。
The most important feature of AMTI radars is the detection of moving targets from moving platforms. This requires careful design of Doppler filters to ensure maximum detection capability. This paper presents a method to maximize the output signal / dry ratio of the radar Doppler processor. Interference consists of correlated echoes from fixed targets (clutter) and irrelevant receiver noise. The article points out that Doppler filter banks can be optimized to maximize both the signal / noise ratio and the signal / noise ratio, with negligible loss in every respect. A typical MTI canceller is only effective for clutter. Three practical ways of designing these filters were studied and compared with one another, and compared with the best designs. The best design gives the upper limit of performance that a filter bank can achieve.
