In the spring and summer of Louis Vuitton2003, Marc Jacobs collaborated with Japanese pop artist Takashi Murakami to launch the new line of LV Monogram leather goods. Using inspiration from illustrator art, Takashi Murakami made a big fuss about this season’s Monogram. The cherry blossoms, or the three-eyed doll, with a smile on the sun, are extremely international in nature. Of course, such internationalization is first and foremost established on Takashi Murakami’s deep understanding of Japanese culture. When we were still surprised at the cooperation between Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami, we made more Japanese sensations in spring and summer of GUCCI2003 when they came from the commercial considerations: large robes, Japanese-style embroidery, wide Wide kimono belt, thick exotic diffuse in the stylish T-stage.
