体育师资教学能力的培养问题,是当前急需要研究和解决的重大课题。早在五十年代,人们就比较重视对学生的职业性的训练,注意教学能力的培养,强调组织教法的掌握,但十分遗憾的是,这些成功经验没有认真地去加以总结,形成制度继承下来。到六十年代,由于形势变化,出现了重技术、轻教学能力培养的趋势、“文革”后七十年代到八十年代,又出现了重专项技术的提高,轻普修技术全面掌握的偏向,教学能力的培养退到可有可无的自流状态。到目前为止,还没有一套完整的切实可行的培养教学能力的计划和制度。
