深圳作为中国改革开放的标志和窗口、揭开了中国市场经济发展的序幕。20年的历程从一个小渔村变成一座大都市,塑造了全中国人无比兴奋和陶醉的当代神话。 作为一座新兴城市,有许许多多的文化交流和艺术展事。如此等等都是一种“文化盆景式”的展示,展完了便离开了深圳,而真正伴随深圳一同成长的、作为深圳本土的艺术家还没有真正成长起来。但是令人兴奋的是:我们已看到了他们的萌发!下面刊发的这一组作品便是明证。 我们目前还不能说他们的作品很成熟,但是一起步便表明了与深圳这座城市的社会土壤相匹配的艺术思维方式和艺术创作手段的当代性。良好的起点是成功的一半。 我们期待着深圳本土艺术家的崛起。
Shenzhen, as a sign and window for China’s reform and opening up, opened the curtain of China’s market economy. The 20-year history has transformed from a small fishing village to a metropolis, shaping the contemporary myth that the entire Chinese are extremely excited and intoxicated. As an emerging city, there are many cultural exchange and art exhibitions. So are all kinds of “cultural bonsai-style” show, after the expo will leave Shenzhen, and really grow together with Shenzhen, as Shenzhen local artists have not really grown up. But what is exciting is that we have seen their germination! This is a proof of this group of works published below. We can not say at the moment that their works are very mature, but together they show the contemporary way of thinking of art and the means of artistic creation that match the social soil of the city of Shenzhen. A good starting point is half the battle. We look forward to the rise of local artists in Shenzhen.
