今年七月,林业部在吉林省临江林业局召开了全国林区中小学教育工作经验交流会。目前,全国林业企业职工子弟中小学已达两千五百多所,在校生总数近百万人。怎样认识林区中小学教育工作的地位,如何抓好企业办学,有着十分重要的意义。为此,召开这样一次工作会议,非常必要。会议选在临江林业局召开。今年二月,这个局曾被省林业厅正式命名为“省直属林业企业中小学教育工作红旗单位”。在这次会议上,各地与会代表认真听取了临江林业局办学经验的介绍,参观了这个局所属的一批中小学。大家一致认为,这个局的教育事业的确办得好。
In July this year, the Forestry Department held a national exchange of experiences in primary and secondary education in forest areas in Linjiang Forestry Bureau of Jilin Province. At present, there are more than 2,500 primary and secondary schools for workers and children in the country’s forestry enterprises, with a total number of nearly one million students. How to understand the status of primary and middle school education in forest areas, how to do a good job of running schools, has very important significance. For this reason, it is very necessary to hold such a working meeting. The meeting was held at Linjiang Forestry Bureau. In February this year, this bureau was formally named by the Provincial Forestry Department as a “red flag unit for primary and secondary education in forestry enterprises directly under the provincial government.” At this meeting, representatives from all walks of life carefully listened to the introduction of Linjiang Forestry Administration’s experience in running schools and visited a batch of primary and secondary schools affiliated with the Bureau. All agreed that the educational undertaking in this Council did indeed well.
