Due to the diversity of the purposes of soil and water conservation in the suburbs, the analysis of benefits of water and soil conservation is also complicated. Taking human and soil erosion control caused by the construction of Shisanling Pumped Storage Power Station on the outskirts of Beijing as an example, this paper analyzes the benefits of suburban soil and water conservation based on tourism from the perspectives of safety benefits, health benefits, landscape visual environmental quality and economic benefits
