Objective To investigate the clinical significance of β_2-microglobulin and pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome (Hypertension syndrome). A case-control study was conducted in 36 cases of pregnancy-induced hypertension (Hypertension syndrome) gestational age ranging from 28 to 40 weeks, ranging in age from 22 to 30 years and in the control group, 40 cases Normal late pregnancy pregnant women. Methods Serum and urine of patients with pregnancy induced hypertension and normal pregnant women were measured by radioimmunoassay to determine the level of β_2-microglobulin. At the same time measure blood urea nitrogen (BUN) as a control, the results of t test. Determination of Results 36 cases of pregnancy induced hypertension syndrome and 40 cases of normal late pregnancy serum β 2-microglobulin measured values were 4.98 ± 1.50mg / L and 2.57 ± 1.43mg / L (p <0.01, t test). The levels of urinary β_2-microglobulin in 29 patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension and 23 normal pregnant women were 1.03 ± 0.91mg / L and 0.55 ± 0.40mg / L, respectively (P <0.05). The blood urea nitrogen (BUN) values were 6.16 ± 4.17mmol / L and 6.173 ± 3.84mmol / L in 33 patients with pregnancy induced hypertension and 25 normal pregnant women, respectively (P> 0.05). Conclusion Serum and urinary β_2-microglobulin levels in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension are significantly higher than those in normal late pregnant women. Serum and urinary β_2-microglobulin levels are more sensitive in monitoring renal dysfunction in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension .
