介绍一种新型黏塑性阻尼器( VPD) ,用于结构的抗震设计。这种装置包含了基于位移和基于速度两种装置的特性。VPD装置由一组夹在两块钢板间的高阻尼黏弹性材料组成,这两块钢板弯曲成特定的形状,可使变形放大,旨在能得到黏弹性材料的拉力和压应变。在低频振动中,该装置可以通过放大轴向应变来耗能,不过只针对于在黏弹性材料中;而从中级到高水平振动中,主要采用钢构件的屈服来耗能。除耗能外,该装置还可为钢构件和黏弹性材料提供刚度。
A new type of viscoplastic damper (VPD) is introduced for seismic design of structures. This device contains both displacement-based and speed-based features. The VPD unit consists of a group of highly viscoelastic materials sandwiched between two steel plates that are bent to a specific shape to allow the deformation to be magnified in order to obtain the tensile and compressive strain of the viscoelastic material. In low-frequency vibrations, the device can dissipate energy by amplifying axial strain, but only in viscoelastic materials; and from medium to high levels of vibration, energy is mainly consumed by yielding of steel components. In addition to energy consumption, the unit provides rigidity to steel components and viscoelastic materials.
