以 99. 99% 的BaCO3 和WO3 为原料通过固相反应直接合成BaWO4 多晶料,采用提拉法沿a轴和c轴均可生长出22mm×80mm的无色透明的BaWO4 单晶。X射线粉末衍射实验确定所获BaWO4 晶体的结构属于四方晶系,空间群I41 /a。通过浮力法测得其密度为 6. 393g/cm3。用莫氏硬度计测得BaWO4 晶体的莫氏硬度为 4。用V型棱镜法测得BaWO4 晶体的折射率在 1. 84左右。
The BaWO4 polycrystal was directly synthesized by solid state reaction using 99.99% BaCO3 and WO3 as raw materials. The colorless and transparent BaWO4 single crystal with the diameter of 22mm × 80mm could be grown along the a-axis and the c-axis by Czochralski method. X-ray powder diffraction experiment confirmed that the structure of BaWO4 crystal belongs to tetragonal system, space group I41 / a. 393g / cm3. By the buoyancy method to measure the density of 6. 393g / cm3. The Mohs hardness of the BaWO 4 crystal measured by a Mohs hardness tester is 4. Measured by V-prism method BaWO4 crystal refractive index around 1.84.
