水泥工业是一种运输密集型工业。多年来,我国水泥生产的大部分原料及产品主要依靠铁路运输来解决,但目前的铁路运输状况十分紧张,且运价很贵。水泥属低值大宗货物,运输费用在其总成本中占有很大比重,以运距500公里计,1吨水泥其铁路运费约相当于出厂价的13%;而钢材的铁路运费,在同样条件下仅相当出厂价的2%左右。
Cement industry is a transportation-intensive industry. Over the years, most of the raw materials and products in China’s cement production have mainly been relied on by rail transport.
