美国民主与共和两党为争夺总统宝座开始新一轮角逐。就当前选情看，一时还难分胜负，且影响美国大选最后结果的因素很多。美国的安全和外交政策以及国家经济状况仍将是大选辩论的主要议题。中国也会是大选话题之一，但中美关系的基本格局已经形成，不会因美国大选而发生实质性改变。
