微珠的颗粒形貌为球形,它在新拌水泥浆中具有轴承效果,可增大水泥浆的流动性,减水率能够达到7%。微珠化学成分有异于传统矿物掺合料,微珠特有的化学成分生产了新的矿物相或者使其含量增加,增加了结构的致密性。粒径分布很窄且平均粒径很小,具有高比表面积和高活性,28d活性指数能够达到120%。微珠能够填充其他胶材间的空隙,优化胶凝材料堆积结构,明显减少大孔径孔数量并细化大孔径孔,改善孔结构,降低硬化水泥石的孔隙率。
