我和魏明伦并不相识,或者说,我认识他而他不认识我。因此,可避“吹捧”之嫌。我要说,我很爱看他编写的戏。他的《易胆大》、《四姑娘》、《巴山秀才》、《潘金莲》等我均看过。他的每一个戏,都各具特色,不仅与他人不相雷同,还与自己绝无重样。1986年,我看过《潘金莲》后,写了一篇短文,发表在《戏曲艺术》第4期上,题目是《下一个“不这样”,好!》果然,1992年来北京演出的《夕照祁山》就是与《潘金莲》不一样!
