Carrying forward national music culture is an important task for music education in primary and secondary schools. It is also our bounden duty for every music teacher. Throughout the current music teaching in primary and secondary schools, there has been a singular situation in the teaching of singing music. The most common class in the classroom are Chinese and foreign famous novels, and the unique artistic forms of our nation, such as opera and folk art. Primary and secondary students are unfamiliar with ethnic music and culture, especially opera music. There are few opportunities for contact and few people are interested in it. The more such a background, the school has a positive and practical significance of drama education. This article aims to analyze the actual teaching of Peking opera, from the perspective of teaching philosophy, teacher education, student learning, etc.
