Summary In 2001, civil aviation industry completed a total investment of 15.18 billion yuan in fixed assets. Up by 18.5% over the previous year, of which the central government invested 11.77 billion yuan, an increase of 13.9% over the previous year and the local investment of 3.14 billion yuan, an increase of 37.5% over the previous year. According to the project attributes, the investment for capital construction was 10,150 million yuan, up 23.48% over the previous year; the investment on technological transformation was 1,750 million yuan, down 17.84% over the previous year; and the borrowed loans of vehicle and ship aircraft amounted to 3.28 billion yuan, up 14.7% over the previous year. According to the funding components: the state budget of 0.5511 billion yuan, the development bank loans 930 million yuan, other
