一 前言 铝电解过程中,钠和电解液渗入碳阴极,钠被插入碳层,根据其插入结构的量,使晶格膨胀。膨胀造成阴极内应力增大,从而裂缝形成使电解槽早期停止运转。预热电解槽时,炭阴极发生热膨胀,施压力于阴极和边壁之间,使炭阴极发生热膨胀。精心设计电解槽,就可能选择因热膨胀造成的从边壁至阴极的压力。重要的是要知道压力对钠膨胀起什么作用。在这篇论文中,我们对Rapport试验仪器作了改进,使之可施加外压。对几个碳样品在0~10Mpa的外压范围进行了试验。
INTRODUCTION During the electrolysis of aluminum, sodium and electrolyte permeate the carbon cathode and sodium is inserted into the carbon layer, expanding the lattice according to the amount of its insertion structure. Expansion caused by increased stress within the cathode, so cracks formed early to stop the operation of the electrolyzer. Preheat the cell, the carbon cathode thermal expansion occurs, the pressure applied between the cathode and the sidewall, so that the carbon cathode thermal expansion. Careful design of the cell makes it possible to choose the pressure from the side wall to the cathode due to thermal expansion. It is important to know what effect pressure exerts on sodium expansion. In this paper, we improved the Rapport tester to apply external pressure. Several carbon samples were tested in the external pressure range 0 ~ 10Mpa.
