Activated carbon filtration is an advanced water quality treatment process that can adsorb organic impurities, some heavy metal ions and small particles of inorganic substances. After working for a period of time, activated carbon loses its capacity of adsorption and needs to be regenerated at a temperature of 800° C. to recover the adsorption capacity and reuse it.
